Love vs. Hate - The Ironic Mindset

Love vs. Hate - The Ironic Mindset
Copyright 2017 by Lori-Ann Willey

Which do you choose?

I sat and listened to a video of yet another gunned down police officer (CA). Directly afterward, I read that another officer (MI) was rescued by citizens after two brothers were seen beating him. Then, Paul read a very hateful statement made to him by one of his very intolerant Extremist Left "friends". I sat trying to take it all in and wondered, what in Hell is happening to America? Since when did all this hate become a "sport" for so many?

I'm both appalled and saddened, while at the same time, a rash of questions screamed throughout my head. "How did this all become a new normalcy? Why are so many people so filled with spite, intolerance, and rage? When and why did it become a sport to be so intolerant of opposing views and opposing choices? Why are we so blatantly intolerant of each other over the littlest of things?"

Also, since when did "Playing Victim" become the latest fad? Apparently, that is quite a popular game these days. Meanwhile, instead of encouraging your self-hyped fears, you could reach outwards and become a hero, because believe it or not, there are TRUE victims out there, and probably within arms reach of you. Trust me, true victims do not play the disgraceful the vindictive, attention-grabbing victim game. Why do you mock them, and in such a callous way? How shameful!

Modern day "Separatists" are playing the victim card, too. They play mostly under the false theme of unification. Because of these groups, our country is severely divided and intentionally so. They single themselves out as being different, but the same. Huh? People can keep their identity and still get along with others ...can't they? I mean, we are all individuals ...are we not? Why do you feel you are more important than the next person? You aren't. Neither am I.

The trouble begins when one group wants to be treated not only fairly, but better than the other. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be enough to "just get along" as people. Apparently, everyone wants some sort of a distinguished title. Equality means just that -being equal. In my eyes, all are equal and all are equally important, but let it be known that I voted for Donald Trump, and suddenly, I'm a racist without just cause! It is then, that I became a true victim of their false accusational thoughts. See how quickly and easily that turned? Since when did name-calling become entertainment, a sport, if you will?

Instead of being a country for all, we've become a country of segregationalists. Each proclaimed "group" has a reference name. They, themselves, set their group apart from others while at the same time, they scream both unification and equality. Now, we have more and more newly-found segregation groups in our country than ever before. I'm shocked that my coffee cup hasn't formed a group yet! It is getting that bad!

The fastest way to become a "target" is by setting yourself aside, giving yourself a title, and then, demand that everyone treat you differently". Yet, aren't we all different from each other in the first place? Every one of us? How is singling yourself out an attempt at "Unification" when you intentionally set yourself apart from others? That makes no sense to me.

Sometimes, I feel helpless over all the upheaval. Why do so many people want such ugliness inside of them? Worse yet, spew it onto others? Help make other lives miserable? How sad it all is that after our country has come so far, and in a matter of a few years, has crumbled almost beyond recognition. Today's youth don't have a clue about how far we've come as a country, but anyone 50 and up should stop and think about that for a minute or two. Anyone younger should ask an elder about their years in life thus far. Get a perspective, because, without it, you haven't a clue. How can you?

The past several years, especially the last few, have instilled fear. The new-found sport of hate and intolerance has taken over a vast portion of the American people. We can blame the media. We can blame the previous Presidents. We can blame the political process, and we can blame the current President all we want. But, ideally, it comes down to the tolerance level of each of us.

Each of us has a say and each of us has a tolerance level. We can each be responsible for ourselves, which in turn, encourages others to be responsible for their own actions and words, too. We can better choose our words, better formulate our thoughts, be more kind, more tolerant, more appreciative of other views, too. Each of us has the ability, and hopefully, the want, to de-escalate a problem rather than inflating it. Believe it or not, we can learn from each other. The problem is, so few make the effort. Too few are willing to listen, learn, or even want to understand each other. So few want tolerance. Why? Maybe practice counting to three before responding to anyone?

In the end, we all have the choice, to love or hate. I chose love and I will every time! Those who chose to hate should reflect inward and stop making excuses for whatever makes you unhappy. Fix it so you can find love, too.

RIOTERS - Our Government VS Socialism VS Communism.

RIOTERS - Our Government VS Socialism VS Communism

Copyright 2017 by Lori-Ann Willey

"Socialism and communism are alike in that both are systems of production for use based on public ownership of the means of production and centralized planning. Socialism grows directly out of capitalism; it is the first form of the new society. Communism is a further development or "higher stage" of socialism."  (www.marxmail.org/faq/socialism_and_communism.htm)

Young people just adored Bernie Sanders because they liked his socialistic ideas -share the wealth of those who have with those who have not. President Trump will help that via taxation, but it does not happen overnight or maybe not even to the extent that is wanted by some, but it will help.

I wonder, just how many realize how closely related Socialism is to Communism. People scream that President Trump is a "dictator" and go as far to say he is another "Hitler". Well, let's look at this for a second.

Maybe people should STOP, THINK, and LISTEN ...become educated on the topic of HISTORY, too.

If you have the courage, look up such names as, Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, and Saddam Hussein. While you’re at it, research North Korea and the leader there. You now, the country that is always threatening Nuclear Missiles flying our way? Don’t forget to research other communist leaders in the world, too.

The more you read, the more you will appreciate our good ol’ United States of America, and maybe your Constitutional Government, as well as your freedom within, too.

Grab a dictionary and as you read about the names above, define the following words as you come across them: genocide, politicide, democide, crime against Humanity, classicide, terror, mass killings, and communist holocaust.

While there are so many screaming “equality” upon American soil, maybe put the world into perspective a bit …our freedom and our government, too.

So many feel they must separate themselves from others by creating a cause. Then, they perform marches, riots, and picketing lines under their segregating titles and of “entitlement”. Such group, thinking so or not, intentionally set themselves aside, excluding themselves from others, while, at the same time, scream equality because they are the same, but not. Huh? People are people. I do not see one as different from the other, nor should anyone, so why give anyone a title, let alone oneself?

Aren’t such doing nothing more than intentionally separate themselves by having titles?

Ever think about that?

How is that "inclusion"?

Without realizing it, what such people are asking for, demanding, in a roundabout way, is a dictatorship-like government. Aren’t they not? Isn’t that what they accuse President Trump as being …a dictator?

Think about it.

I wished these rioting groups would find a more peaceful way …a better way, to make this country a better place for all, because RIOTING just forces an upper hand. That upper hand is more government control, more police control, more laws, more strictness upon the people to protect all people. Don’t they see this?

More government control means dictatorship. If people continue to riot and find reasons to riot, they will make the fear of a dictatorship a reality. So many already wanted a socialist as a President. That is one step closer to communistic rule. One step closer to real dictatorship.

What do you really want?

Something to think about.

I Have Not Been Held Back

I Have Not Been Held Back

Copyright 2017 by Lori-Ann Willey

I just must say this. I have not once been held back from doing anything I wanted to do simply because I am a woman.

I have always had encouragement to do anything my dreams desired. Not once in my life have I been told, "That is impossible". I was raised with the mindset that anything is possible. The key to success is how badly I want it and how willing I am to work for it.

No, I did not go to college and I did not choose a career. Instead, I willingly married and raised a family. I willingly worked at any job I wanted, and I willingly volunteered my time throughout my adult life. Despite being a 24/7 wife & nurse to my husband, I still volunteer to help those in need or offer services. I was never prevented from going to college. I could have gone for free due to Paul being a Disabled Veteran. I chose not to.

I did, however, take a few computer classes and learned a couple programming languages just to keep my brain active. Then, the discovery of the Internet took me out of the local libraries. Now, I can research and learn anywhere at any time with a world of knowledge at my fingertips ...literally.

Unfortunately, I was declined the job position once, but it was not because I was a woman or unqualified. Nor, was I declined the job by a man. It was a job working on a military base in Hawaii.
Paul was an active duty soldier and I had worked at another military store, so I had knowledge of the job and should have been bumped to the top of the list due to my own job transfer.

Why wasn't I hired? It was because I was pregnant with my first-born child. Despite that, I still had several months that I could work without pregnancy interfering with the job. The woman who interviewed me was Korean. She point-blankly told me, "If I hired you, I'd have to let you go to have your baby". It did not matter my seniority. It did not matter my work ethics. Nothing mattered except for that woman's concern that she'd apparently have to deal with a pregnant woman needing time off to deliver a baby.

I was not happy and wanted to climb the ladder of complaint, but I didn't. I could have. I chose not to. I consider that "my choice".   My husband reminds me that no “whites” were hired by the woman manager at that time.   So, yes, that was discrimination, despite my abilities and job transfer.

That was back in the mid-80's. The world has changed A LOT since then. I am now 50 and getting closer to that 51 mark.  That was the ONLY time I was “discriminated" against. BUT, it was not because I am a woman. It was because of my "condition" …and apparently because I am white, too.

Though I have not experienced unfair treatment or less pay because I am a woman, does not mean that I do not understand the hardships that so many women before me had to fight for. At the same time, I personally have never known a woman that was held back by anyone except for themselves. I'm NOT saying there weren't injustices to others, but I also know a bit of history, too.

Who were hired in factories during times of war while the men were fighting in another land for our freedom? Fighting to give women the right to work alongside men?  Fighting for the freedom of all within our COUNTRY OF THE FREE?

Our country survived because of those women workers of all ethnicity. To me, that is understanding the value of women and their abilities to take over jobs that men left behind .... for the sake of their country ...both sexes sacrificed, worked, endured, succeeded when and where they wanted to.

We've come a very long way, so I guess I don't understand why so many women feel they cannot accomplish anything they want to ...or moreover, feel they can't become anyone they want to become.
I don't see society stopping them, but I do see them stopping themselves. But, maybe I'm just blind and not "old enough" to understand what other women before me went through. BUT, isn't that just it? Their struggles THEN are not the same as the struggles of today.

What is expected of us? And why say "we as women"?

WHY single ourselves out as separate when so many also scream equality at the same time?

I see so many women who put limits on THEMSELVES.

Who is holding who back?

Just not getting the Woman’s March concept.

Sigh.

“Only Thing We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself" - Franklin D. Roosevelt

If you don't learn the facts and then double check and cross check, then you DESERVE to fear. The unknown, or believing in lies, are often FAR worse than the truth itself.

When you choose to believe in lies and/or intentional deception, then you fail yourself in a very big way, because you allow the untruths to wrongly dictate and dominate YOU.

Get in control. Learn facts ...THEN,  fear if you must.

OR

You can better build your personal life and the lives around you. It starts with the willingness to educate yourself.

The Woman's March

The Woman's March 2017

Copyright 2017 by Lori-Ann Willey

I just can't get over the ideology of some of the Woman's Marchers.

It really bothered me to see a young pre-teen girl, maybe eleven years old, holding a protest sign saying, "Nasty Woman in Training".

What is wrong with these parents that allow their child of such a young age to participate in such a march?  Surely, the children don't even know WHY they are there in the first place.

Isn't all that, especially the sign, a form of corruption? How is that a good cause?

My heart is so sad right now. How is any of this fun for people?

How is any of this "just" or "justice"?

I think all this is very, very, very sad.  Such things as wearing vagina costumes upon the faces and head, or even entire bodies is nothing more than a public display of pornography and/or indecent exposure?

Such people did not do America proud, or at least, they do not do me proud.  To me, it is shameful that people are stoop so low.

Can you imagine if someone, no matter the sexual orientation or age, wore a vagina costume for Halloween and trotted around YOUR neighborhood?

How about if someone wore a huge penis costume?

Can you imagine, if someone decided to make such a statement in your grocery store, on your bus, in your child's school setting?

If those people want to wear such genitalia costumes, please keep them in your own home.   But, tell me, if a child came to school and spoke about how Mommy (or, mommies) and/or Daddy (or, daddies) walk around the home wearing vagina and penis's, you don't think child protective services wouldn't come knocking?  And, that is WITHIN the home.  Now take that thought process onto the streets in public view, in front of the cameras for the world (literally) to see.  Is it not bad enough you taint your own child, you must taint other children across the world, too?

Tell me, if a man walked down the street with his genitals hanging out, would he/she not be arrested for indecent exposure?  If he walked around children, would he not be arrested for indecent exposure to children?  What is the difference between a costume and the real thing?  When it comes to public display ...nothing.

All those women attended the march because they were on a mission, had something to prove, had a cause of their own.  That is fine.  March as you will.  However, consider the extremists who tainted YOUR cause.

Think about the message Madonna sends in her music and in her sexually explicit modeling poses.  Yet, she was chosen to represent women?  The admittance that many times she thought about blowing up the White House?  Betterment of yourself starts with yourself, not the accusation that men are to blame for everything you don't like.

What about that Judd woman?  How nasty, foul, and degrading she was to herself.  How NASTY she truly is with her very visually descriptive words about blood-stained sheets and pants!   Again, betterment of yourself with yourself, not the accusation that men are to blame for everything you don't like in this world.

None of the women above represent this woman, nor do they represent most women.

I was happy to see that there were marches in different locations that were peaceful. For that, I am thankful. However, the message of filth, self-degradation, and pornography, spewn by foul-mouths by wearing genitalia costumes ...with faces inside poking out, do NOT REPRESENT THIS WOMAN. I understand THOSE are the extremists ...they still represent the whole, like it or not. Which photos will be remembered?  Always the extremists.  I would not want a peaceful march to be represented by such people.  Such people did not represent you, either.  I get that and for you, I'm sorry.

Speaking OF "betterment", 90 MILLION DOLLARS was given by a single man in support of the March. That does not include all the smaller donations by other people. It does not include the hundreds of dollars that came from the pockets of those who spent their own money to attend a march.

I can't help but think, HOW MANY WOMEN that 90 MILLION DOLLARS would help feed, cloth, get counseling, medical care, help pay bills, etc. To me, if this woman's march was such a great cause, I can think of better ways to help women than free rides to DC and thrown litter upon the ground, and then, walk away leaving the mess, your mess for others to clean.

All that 90 MILLION DOLLARS could have been spent so wisely.  Instead, it was spent on bussing people to a march.  Do you not realize how that money could greatly benefit women crisis, feed their children, wash their clothes, provide mental health care, helpful programs, etc.

If Mr. Soros truly wanted to help women, don't you think the money would have gone to help them instead of pushing his own agenda?  Like it or not, Mr. Soros PAID you to march under the ideology of the "Women's March", but in reality, it was an "Anti-Trump March".  Otherwise, countless women would be much better off today if that 90 MILLION DOLLARS was truly for women.  One man, single-handedly could have changed America overnight. But, that didn't happen, did it?

Instead, Mr. Soros spent his money on those who "drank the cool-aid" and fell for his deception. Thanks, ladies, you just helped a multi-billionaire become a very, very powerful MAN.  You just helped that same man become more and more of a dictator.  You fell for the trap.  Mr. Soros, meanwhile sits back and is laughing at all the gullible women of America.  You let him trick you for his own personal cause.  Where is your women power now?

Think of it this way, if Mr. Soros and all those Hollywood women TRULY wanted to help, then they would not just shoot filth from their mouths while their own pockets are lined with gold, homes with fences, gunned guards for protection ....and drugs in their bodies. Not to mention the photos and song lyrics they so proudly blurt.  Where is their TRUE help for women?

To say the whole march idea was NOT an anti-Trump movement is foolish.  You drank the cool-aid offered by a multibillion dollar man that had an alternative cause. Women, you were just a pawn -a George Soros pawn.

If you do not think so, then ask yourself, why did the Woman's March take place the DAY AFTER President Trump was elected?  Why protest then?   President Trump simply inherited the mess that others created in this country before him.  President Trump says he will fix a lot of the problems in America.  Yet, it appears that many women do not want him to do that?  You expect him to make everything better within hours after taking the Presidential Oath?   The quick fix solution is in my challenge below.  THAT is how you can help, not by protesting with someone else’s money that could have helped millions of women country-wide (countries wide)!

Reality Check!  If you truly wanted to help women, start by selecting decent women to represent all women, not just the “Nasty Woman”.  Start by protesting the lyrics of songs laden with blood, guts, gore, death, killing of police officers, rape, incest, and all the Nasty Women poses by Madonna, too. Doing such things WILL help all women, not just the NASTY.

You "Nasty Women" want a better America?  Stop talking, and start HELPING the women by donating your money, create programs and organizations to help women in need.  Put your money where your mouth is!  Don't just scream, DO!  Maybe then, I will consider you representing me, a woman who DOES for betterment of all.

I CHALLENGE YOU to help change America overnight!  There are NO excuses.  A little or a lot.  At least you will see the difference in your home, your community, and within yourself!  A better cause.  A better and quicker result.

SANCTUARY CITIES

Copyright 2017 by Lori-Ann Willey

SANCTUARY CITIES - I think it is great that there are cities where both undocumented and documented can live together in a new country. A place where there are more of those who share the same culture while adapting to the new cultures of the American ways. I get all that.

The problem with so many Sanctuary Cities is that instead of upholding the rights of the documented AND and naturalized citizens alike, when an undocumented commits a crime, they don't report them, but instead, let them go back onto the streets where so many of them commit more crimes. Some, get mixed up in bad ways while trying to adjust to a new "free" life in the United States. I get that, too. It is not easy, but committing a crime doesn't make it any easier on them ...unless they live in a Sanctuary City.

Sanctuary Cities, for the most part, do not abide by the laws of the land, yet they so freely take money from the government they choose to defy. They consider themselves above the law. It is one thing to support the undocumented, and it is quite another to harbor those who are criminals. Creating a safe haven for criminals is not only immoral but illegal.  If I harbored a fugitive in my home, then I am guilty of committing a crime. Sanctuary Cities, by harboring criminals, they are also committing a crime. It is no different.

A crime is a crime NO MATTER the gender or ethnicity. WHY are some people exempt from crimes and others not? How is that not preferential treatment? How is that fair "justice' when some are held responsible for their crimes and others not? How is that not intentional separation of one over another? A crime is a crime. It should NOT matter the color of their skin, their religion, or origin, here, there, or anywhere.

Have Sanctuary Cities where people can come and feel welcomed, safe, and still be able to continue their cultural ways while adapting to a new life. I see nothing wrong with that. The bottom line is the intentional harboring of criminals is wrong, no matter whom they are or from where they come.

Holding Sanctuary Cities to the law IS justice FOR ALL not just "justice" for the criminals. Sigh. Since when did following the law become such an immoral act in itself?

NOTE - The law has not changed with the new President. It is the same law ...it is simply being moreso enforced. Nothing more.

Do More Than Just Imagine
